Tagging the Chickens

All six of our chickens are Cinnamon Queens, so they look a lot alike. Some are a bit smaller and some a bit bigger and they seem to have different personalities, but we can't quite determine which one is Loner, which one is Friendly, which is Scaredy-Cat, and which is Bully. Are they names for different chickens, or are two of those names actually for the same chicken?

The chickens move around so quickly and we have not put the time to study them out and differentiate them by looks, so we purchased some tags to put on their legs back in January and finally got around to putting them on their legs in May. We hope that now we will be able to pay enough attention to get them all identified and named appropriately for their characteristics.

We used the colored lady bugs and the frog to tag our chickens.
